Capital Project Leadership
& Construction Advisory

Professional oversight, contract administration, and project execution for commercial, institutional, and infrastructure developments across Grand Cayman.

  • Director-Led Oversight
  • RICS Regulated Governance
  • Complete Design-to-Handover Stewardship

Defining Our Capabilities: Project Management vs. Construction Management

JEC offers flexibility tailored to your development structure, operating as an overarching Project Manager or hands-on Construction Manager / Owner’s Representative.

  • Project Management (Executive Stewardship): Independent client representation managing external design teams, lead consultants, procurement routes, and overall contract administration to protect time, cost, and quality parameters.
  • Construction Management & Owner’s Representation (On-Site Execution): Direct site-level supervision, trade contractor coordination, real-time quality control, safety compliance, and construction execution on behalf of the owner or institutional client.

End-to-End Delivery Lifecycle

  • Design & Consultant Coordination: Leading multi-disciplinary consultant teams (architects, engineers, MEP specialists), managing design deliverables, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Programme & Risk Management: Developing critical-path schedules, establishing milestone baselines, and identifying operational and financial risks early to mitigate project delays.
  • Procurement & Tendering: Structuring formal tender documentation, evaluating contractor proposals, conducting pre-qualification audits, and negotiating construction contracts.
  • Contract Administration & Change Control: Managing contract mechanics, reviewing variation requests, enforcing quality benchmarks, and maintaining rigorous cost control throughout execution.
  • Reporting & Contractor Coordination: Delivering regular, transparent progress reports to client boards or lenders, while coordinating daily on-site contractor performance.
  • Commissioning, Testing & Handover: Overseeing final testing, statutory inspections, snagging resolution, building handover, and O&M manual compilation.
