What the work looks like here

JEC is a small practice doing serious work, so there is less hierarchy than in a regional firm and a lot more exposure: the person who inspects the property usually writes the report, and the person who costs the project usually sits in the meetings where it gets decided.

Every discipline is in-house — valuation, quantity surveying, project management and property management — which means the cost data behind an appraisal is the same data used on site.

Supporting Cayman’s Future Talent

JEC is proud to participate in CareerMasters, a Cayman Islands pre career programme designed to bridge the gap between education and employment for local high school students.

Through the programme, students develop practical workplace skills, build confidence and gain meaningful exposure to real working environments. CareerMasters has already supported more than 150 students across Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac through workplace readiness training, community engagement and tailored work experience placements.

At JEC, we believe that developing the next generation of Caymanian professionals requires more than simply talking about career opportunities. By welcoming young Caymanians into our business, introducing them to the property industry and providing practical experience, guidance and mentorship, we aim to help shape the future of Cayman’s property profession and create clearer pathways into long term careers.
